Celeste’s interest in New Mexico Folk Art was influenced by her great uncle Luis Aragon, a famous New Mexico Santero. She attended art classes at Valley High School. |  |

In 1998, recognizing her God-given talent, Celeste began to pursue her art work in earnest after raising her family. She began by painting Retablos, an Hispanic religious art which eventually led her to Tin Art. |
